I use DISH and am satisfied.

Unlike DTV, none of the DISH receivers have direct serial control,  
you'll have to use some sort of IR blaster to control the receiver.

You'll probably want to use the S-Video input of a capture card, I use  
PVRs.

This applies only to SD at this time.
