Fair enough to disagree, but a 1GHz G4 iBook is a far different beast to 
a 1.33GHz G4 PowerBook.

As another data point, a PowerMac G4 1GHz DP runs MythTV fine, it's just 
slow to launch, a little slow to start playing the video (over 100BT), 
and just a little slower to skip video then my MythDora Athlon64 3200+. 
Once playing it's fine though. And for a kids machine it would be more 
than adequate.
