Adding another data point, I'm currently using a Hauppauge Nova-S Plus
PCI card without any problems. A great source of information on all
things TV related is the Linux TV wiki. Their DVB-s info can be found
at http://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/DVB-S_Devices.
