Your best bet is to never insert a channel for those channels you don't
actually get.  My recommendation is to do the video sources part of
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/users/264034#264034 .

Then, go through the xmltv configuration to ensure that your grabber
only pulls the channels you actually receive.  Then, you can run
mythfilldatabase to populate your video source(s).
