Can't you just:
- Go to the watch recordings screen
- Select a recording
- Press right
- Go to user jobs or transcode or something (second option from the
bottom I think)
- Select transcode
- Select the transcode profile that you configured for MPEG4.

Repeat above for each recording you want to transcode.  I am not at my
mythbox now so I don't know the exact wording of the menus but you
should be able to follow the above :)
