Thanks Greg and Allen,

yah I think I agree with what you're saying, best to go with the NVidia 
chipset, the 7050 board in my case. It might be older but its easily 
good enough, and in the case of a Media Center, bleeding edge is not a 
good choice :) Stability trumps all.
