[mythtv-users] Audio Config Issue

I am running MythBuntu 8.04 with all the latest updates on an Intel mobo
with a P4 2.0GHz processor and 768 MB RAM.  I also have an Audigy 1 PCI card
using the digital output to a digital input on a Pioneer Receiver.  After
some fiddling (and a trip to the #alsa on freenode) I have got ALSA working
with XINE and MPlayer for AC3 and PCM audio.  However, I am not getting
anywhere in Myth.  Here are the audio settings in Myth:

Output:  ALSA:default
Passthrough:  ALSA:default

With either the mixer on or off, I get a staticy chatter whenever I watch my
only video source (OTA HD).  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!
