Just finished a yum update on FC8 which appears to have broken our remote
frontend. This update process updates the entire mythtv-suite. Both master
and remote frontend were updated at the same time.
Master front-/backend works fine as far as I can tell.
Last few lines of output from remote frontend:
2008-06-04 06:47:23.509 TV: Attempting to change from None to
WatchingPreRecorded
2008-06-04 06:47:23.673 AFD: Opened codec 0x9cd5af0, id(MPEG2VIDEO)
type(Video)
2008-06-04 06:47:23.673 AFD: codec AC3 has 2 channels
2008-06-04 06:47:23.674 AFD: Opened codec 0x8c955c0, id(AC3) type(Audio)
2008-06-04 06:47:23.678 Opening audio device '/dev/dsp'. ch 2(2) sr 48000
2008-06-04 06:47:23.678 Opening OSS audio device '/dev/dsp'.
Segmentation fault
last message in dmesg:
mythfrontend[3683]: segfault at 00000200 eip 0048884d esp b3db3870 error 4
If I connect "mplayer" on the remote frontend to a video file on the master,
it plays just fine. The mplayer command I use is:
mplayer -fs -zoom -quiet -vo sdl -ao alsa
/RemoteDrive/1121_20080526200000.mpg
Suggestions?
Thx! -- Oji --
