[mythtv-users] DVD audio is really low and with Alsa:surround51 no audio when playing Live TV

when you removed the alsa.conf file did you also change your sound
selection to ALSA:default in MythTV?  I don't think the default has
the 5.1 selection you previously had.  Use ASLA:default
