Strongly suggesting the problem is local...which is what I was
starting to figure once I had proven it wasn't parser/feed mismatch.

I tried once more last night. The status would say "harvesting", and
then there would be nothing else. I left it alone for a minute or
two, with no change. I check it now, and the status does say
harvesting, and at the same time it says "received 0 KB" beneath the
word "time".

The file is present, but empty.

I deleted all the files in the ~/.mythtv/mythstream/cache directory.
No help. I then tried removing the cache directory itself. No help.
(I put it back)

Nope.

For giggles, I also tried creating a new feed, pointed at some other
user's favorites - same result - although I'm getting the "received 0
KB" right away now.

I also added a new favorite to my account's favorites list. Nothing

(both those things are really meant to jog the cache, which I've
already cleared, but I didn't know if it might jostle something loose
elsewhere)

Haven't tried those yet - they involve a longer sit-down which I can't
manage this morning...but I'll try those out when I can.

No, no...better to use the occasion as a lesson on the limitations of
instant gratification, rather than a demonstration on how to weasel
and avoid responsibility.

Besides, if she really gets bent, I'll blame those anti-fair-use
nimrods at Disney.

Cheers.
