[mythtv-users] Need simple video capture card. How about a Pinnacle DC10? Others?

I would like to capture s-video and sound from the output of a DishTV 
box or a VCR.  I don't need a TV tuner on the card.  I don't need or 
want HD for this.

My daughter has a Pinnacle DC10 capture card.  It has S-Video inputs and 
you use the sound card for the audio.  I can borrow that if it is worth 
the trouble.  I hate to spin my wheels so would like to hear that 
someone got this working well before I spend the time debugging another 
configuration.

Does anyone have experience with this card?  Care to share?  If not, any 
other recommendations.
