[mythtv-users] sempron 3100 v. 64 3000+

Hi All,

I was considering upgrading my cpu from what is currently in there (a
sempron 3100) to a 64 bit chip.  Because it is a socket 754, I am
somewhat limited by what I can put in there, but I found a athlon 64
3000+ at Frys for $50.  Will I notice a speed bump (particularly with
HD, allowing me to turn off xvmc) with this chip, or is it a waste of
$50?
