[mythtv-users] DCT6200 STB Question

After reading the recent thread about that Hauppage device that will allow
recording from component input at 1080i/p, I've been thinking about
picking up another (extra) DCT6200 to use as a receiver for recording via
one of these, when the Hauppage card becomes available - it appears that
this card will finally allow me to record all the HD content I pay for.

On eBay, I see several listings for used 6200s - some are called "DCT6200
2005" and some are "DCT6200 1000".  The pics of the backs of the units
appear identical (they appear to have the same ports).  The 1000s seem to
have mostly higher bids.  Is there a difference?  Are the "2005" units
somehow crippled with more DRM-enforcement crap that the 1000s?
