[mythtv-users] Saving off Shows

I've got a friend serving in Iraq. I'd like to copy some shows off to CD/DVD
and send to him to watch. 

I tried using WinSCP to copy the mpeg files off to another machine, but they
won't play. 

 

Is there a special utility I need to use to export the shows?
