Could you tell me your kernel, and what lirc you have (and whatever else
relevant you have), and what you have in your modprobe.conf and
/etc/sysconfig/lirc?

I have lirc-0.8.2-2.fc8 from Fedora, built Aug 07.

I would really like to get this working.
