Ok I went into the Channel Editor in Mythtv-Setup and found that the
channels with no guide data from EIT did NOT have the box checked to
"Use On-Air Guide", (I had never gone into the channel editor during
initial install). So I went through and enabled this for all channels.
I also changed the Channel Names to something more intuitive like NBC.
I then exited mythtv-setup and ran mythfilldatabase when prompted. I
then went back to Watch Live TV and took a look at the guide but still
no program info for those channels! What is interesting is that the
channel names have also not changed to what I typed (either in the
Guide or the OSD).

Something did not carry through from mythtv-setup to the frontend as I
expected. Any ideas?

I also tried restarting the backend with the options described above
and took a look at the backend but there is no mention of "hidden" in
the log. There are lines like this for 2 of the 3 channels where I do
get guide info:
2008-01-11 09:59:02.889 EITScanner: Now looking for EIT data on
multiplex of channel 54_1

Cheers,

Jonno.
