[mythtv-users] PVR-150 install issues with LIRC irblaster

When I run "dmesg|grep pvr" after reboot I do not get
any output.

How can I be certain that lirc is installed and
configured to use pvr150? The community page for lirc
install is weak for the pvr150.

I'm not really worried, but I also notice after reboot
that Ubuntu wants to install the
"linux-ubuntu-modules..." again, even though it tells
me that it isn't actually updating (new version same
as installed version).
