[mythtv-users] Mytharchive (transcode?) not honoring cut list

Greetings:

Up to this point I've simply been watching recordings and videos and
leaving them on the hard drive.  I've decided to try archiving some shows
to DVD.  I decided to do this with Journeyman, since it's been cancelled
(and I have the whole season on my HD).  I went ahead and made sure the
cut points were correct (and playing the files with the revised cutlists
worked fine).  However, when trying to archive to DVD, I found that the
commercials were still there.  In the progress log, I found this:

It's not telling me why it can't use the cut list.  Can someone enlighten
an archiving n00b?

I found one recent thread in the archives regarding this problem, but the
poster had a different problem, apparently (see his log snippets):
