There's MythTV Wiki entry for it. It does involve building a proper 
OSX system as the AppleTV is pentium-m which means no sse3. All OSX 
desktop are built assuming Intel Core Duo with sse3 support.

Someone else did a mythfrontend under the AppleTV's plugin structure 
but with the release of r2, the third party frontrow plugins not 
fixed yet. framework changes with r2 that break r1 and r1.1 plugins. 
Only two are working right now and they are still fixing small issues.
