[mythtv-users] Mythtv 0.20.2 xbox xebian pkgs now available

Hi All,

Seems that the message has got to big, so I have deleted the rest of it.

This is what has happend so far with the help of Mr Monkey Pet and others on
the list. Thank heaps

- got an xbox moded it
- downloaded the small E-image
- Loaded and configured the E-image as per the instructions
after downloading it and installing it, I ran into a semi documentent
problem Mythvideo would not work. (the small e-image  has not had the
mythplugins updated.)
I got that to work with the sources list that monkey pet emailed in after
some other strange goings on. I updated the mythvideo, music, gallery etc.
- Mythvideo still did not work. Due to my own stupidness i didn't realise
that i had to change all the directories to reflect the backend. I didnt
that  and was told that i had to share the /storage dir on the backend.
- I followed the howto listed in my prevoius post, from mythdora (as that is
my backend)

Here started the next problem. NFS
the NFS shares are not mounting on boot.
they mount fine at the command level with the mount /storage/videos etc. but
they do not survive the reboot.

I have followed the directions in the howto in detail and gone over it again
to be sure. (even changed permisssions and the ownership of the /storage,
/storage/videos etc to mythtv. also chmod -777 as per the howto but they
still will not mount on boot and will not survie a reboot. I can not see any
error messages in the dmesge.

I have googled this list and other places but i am not able to find a way to
get this to work.

Anybody got any ideas.

PS the xbox frontend is working fine if i mount the directoires by command
line. Plays videos and SD recorded tv fine. Searching forward or in reverse
has a bit of a delay, a bit more of a delay than the combined FE/BE. other
than that its no bad at the moment.
