You are probably correct but I would rather avoid hard padding as it 
will cause other conflicts and may result in shows being missed 
completely. I was hoping that multirec would preserve the soft overlap 
for back to back recordings on the same channel and would even be able 
to do this for non-dvb sources (pvr150). After all, it only requires the 
same data to be written to 2 files during the overlap period. Maybe it's 
not as simple as it sounds.
