I and one other person have reported this on nvnews.net on Nvidia's 
proprietary AMD64 driver with Nvidia 7050M2/630a chipset.  I have no 
idea if this is a bug or pilot error.  For instance, I have framebuffers 
turned off in the kernel.  I did this because I didn't want to figure 
out the geometry settings during boot, which by default causes me to 
lose the bottom 10 lines of text.  I do have VGA console support turned 
on in the kernel (maybe it should be 720p support, if that were a 
choice).  Maybe the problem is that I haven't got VGA?  Before I start 
X, I can do <ctrl-alt-Fx>, but after I start X, I have lost the consoles 
displays forever until rebooting.  The keyboard still works in each 
console as expected.  The TV reports no signal.
