Only by restoring the backup from above and losing anything you created 
(recordings, configuration changes, ...) with the trunk version.

Note, though, that if you upgrade to trunk now, you can switch to 
0.21-fixes once 0.21 is released and a -fixes branch is created for it. 
However, mixing packages and compiled from scratch is a whole other 
thing that you don't want to do.  And, whether you can easily switch 
from 0.20-fixes packages to trunk packages and "back" to 0.21-fixes 
packages I couldn't tell you.  (I don't know the packages/package 
managers/package management systems.)
