It's infuriating isn't it. You might want to try the RT XMLTV data which 
usually has subtitles (episode titles), then set Myth to match on 
subtitle rather than description. As long as both showings have the same 
subtitle then it won't matter if the description changes.

Incidentally, the 9pm version of Torchwood is slightly different to the 
7pm version, as the 7pm has been toned down for a younger audience, just 
so you know. For me that means for Torchwood specifically I match on 
subtitle, but I specifically set the 7pm versions to 'not record' so 
that it records the 9pm version instead. Yes, I know I could tell it to 
record 'in this slot', but I prefer the flexibility of any time, any 
channel rules.
