Do MythTV recorded shows play back OK?  If so, have you checked to  
make sure DMA is enabled on the DVD drive?  If DMA is turned off  
you'll get lots of stuttering.


I also notice there's no DRI configuration in your xorg.conf file.  I  
would think you'd want to have that enabled (and use 'VIA XvMC' in the  
playback settings) to get hardware accelerated MPEG-2 decoding.  I was  
running OpenSuse on my M10000, not MythDora, but here's the xorg.conf  
I was using:
