This was one of the my firsts steps.
I downloaded firmware using
/usr/src/linux-2.6.24/Documentation/dvb/get_dvb_firmware and put that
file in /lib/firmware , but it help me "just" using card in Kaffeine. It
does not had effect on MythTV.
I just noticed that in STDOUT of mythtv-setup are this lines:
2008-02-03 09:19:07.943 Could not query inputs.
eno: Inappropriate ioctl for device (25)
2008-02-03 09:19:07.945 New DB connection, total: 2
2008-02-03 09:19:07.946 Connected to database 'mythconverg' at host:
192.168.0.5
2008-02-03 09:19:07.951 Could not query inputs.
eno: Inappropriate ioctl for device (25)
2008-02-03 09:19:07.955 Could not query inputs.
eno: Inappropriate ioctl for device (25)
Mr. Google told me that it means that driver of my card do not support
enumerate-inputs-v4l2-ioctl. So it means I can not use MythTV with my
"LifeView FlyDVB-T Hybrid"? What puzzle me is, why it works in Kaffeine
and not in MythTV?
