[mythtv-users] Sony XL1B2

Hi, I have 2 VGP-XL1B2 that I am currently using with LinuxMCE ( formally plutohome ).  I have come to the conclusion that this is really overkill for what I need, namely distributed dvd viewing.  Some time ago there was talk on this list about MythTV and mtx/VGP-XL1B2 integration.  After many hours of googling I have not found if this has made it into the MythTV project. There is a wiki page at  http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Sony_XL1B2  but not any info on how to get the required patched.      

Does anyone here have this integration working or know who to contact?  


Normally I would post this on the dev list, but original author announced the working integration on this (mythtv-users) list in 2006.  

Your help would be greatly appreciated!
