[mythtv-users] Size of transcoded file increased after MythTV update

I recently updated from SVN 14587 to 15714.  Prior to
the upgrade, the size of a half hour SD recording
(PVR-500 with bitrate 4500) was around 1.2 GB.  I
transcoded that to MP4 using mythtranscode, bitrate
2400, uncompressed audio.  The resulting file was
around 900 MB.

Since the upgrade, having changed no other settings,
transcoding to MP4 results in a half hour show being
1.3 GB.  In other words it is actually increasing the
file size which defeats the purpose of why I am
transcoding in the first place.

I have gone in to verify that all of my settings in
the recording profiles are the same as before (they
are).
Am I missing some new setting that was introduced
between these versions?
