With a bit of firefighting I have restored the channel numbers by direct
manipulation of the sql tables (thanks to
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=914136 ). Then, rerunning
mythfilldatabase has brought back a bit of life into the schedule BUT not
much. Now a majority of channels are empty (including major ones like BBC
ONE, and when I say empty I mean no data even for TODAY) and just a few have
some information. I cannot figure this out: I thought if it grabbed it would
grab everything... Back to more trial and error.
