[mythtv-users] MythArchive: I don't get it

I am confident that I am following the available information
(http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/MythArchive).

In particular I have followed the instructions at
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/MythArchive#To_create_a_DVD

and, of course, taken on board the hints and tips offered here.

Nevertheless, it just doesn't seem to work. As my test I wanted to
create an ISO file suitable for a single layer DVD. To fit the two files
onto the disk they have to be reduced to SD.

I get up to the log viewer screen, which reports this:

The fatal error message "ERROR: Failed while running ffmpeg to re-encode
video." is frustratingly empty of meaning to me at least.

The one issue I do see in the log is
"2008-12-27 10:38:17 savefilename = ''"

savefilename hasn't been assigned. I assume this should be be iso file's
name? If a user assignment has to be made, where?

Can anyone help out or is it best to continue to use nuvexport?

Cheers
