[mythtv-users] Output 1080i?

Hey all,

 

  I recently placed a Panasonic Plasma TV on my Myth.   I'm using an
Nvidia 7300SE to drive the video, and I'm running at 1920x1080.

The "info" the TV displays indicates that I am running at 1080i.   I'm
not really certain why, or how that is.   I was under the impression
that it would be 1080p straight up.    I'm just basically running the
DVI out to the HDMI (through a Yamaha receiver)

 

Any thoughts are welcome.
