[mythtv-users] good ir receiver for mythtv/lirc

I am looking for an IR receiver that will work with an external IR
sensor, at up to 150ft of CAT5...

We have installed a bunch of these keystone IR sensors around the house:

And are looking for a good way to bring them into a lirc/myth setup.

I would like to have something that is USB based, but serial would work,
as long as it can work with either a USB/Serial adapter, or an 8 port
serial card such as this one:
