You may want to try manually loading at first to see where the problem
occurs by not modprobing the two modules on boot. Boot up and look at
the /dev/ directory and then modprobe lirc_imon and lirc_dev and look
in the /dev/ directory to see if anything changes. Could be naming it
something else instead of lcd0 or it could be a permission issue.
