Which theme and OSD are you using, I get the white OSD issue with the
blootube OSD. Also getting alot of tearing and blocky artifacts with live
HD (BBC HD - 1080i). Have tried all deinterlacers....

This is on an ASUS M3N78 Pro, onboard 8300 gpu (allocated 512Mb in BIOS).
It previously had 256Mb allocated but mythfrontend would bomb out when
attempting to view BBC HD.

PS. Still to compile mplayer with VDPAU support anyone got links to the
patch?
