Just did - no joy... but it looks like that was the problem... I'm at
home now.  I used the VM to install the firmware from the original CD
that came with it.  I also installed the software into the VM.  (One of
the programs, during the installation, states that it won't run in a
VM...)

After setup completed, I disconnected from the VM server, reconnected to
the myth box, and it saw it right away and loaded the driver.  Funny
thing though, it says that it's attached to /dev/video8, while in /dev,
the new device is /dev/video2.  (I have a PVR-150 and PVR-250 in the box
already.)

Given that I used the original firmware, I doubt that I'll get AC3, but
I can live with that for now... until I feel bold enough to reflash with
the new firmware and see if it works... ;)
