[mythtv-users] Startup/Shutdown control

My mythtv FE/BE starts itself up at midnight although I've changed my  
job processing times from 06:30-22:00 and my mythwelcome daily  
wakeup/shutdown times to 03:00-04:30 (I run an xmltv grab at 03:15)  
and 00:00-00:00. I noticed this morning at 05:50 that although it  
showed an uptime of 5:50 hrs it was still flagging the second of 2  
recordings from the previous evening, each less than 1hr duration.

I looked through the mythbackend log and each time it decides it's  
idle it seems to find something to do within the 3 minute idle period  
- eg scan for new videos or DVDs(?). Do I need to switch some other  
functions off?
