[mythtv-users] WD10EACS SATA and standby problem

hi there,

as I still try to build a new system, I run into more problems every day :-(

For the hdd I've choosen a WD10EACS SATA drive, where I have my problems 
with.
I can put it into standby by using hdparm -y , but not with the -S 
timeout option.
even if I umount the drive, it will never go to standby.

I googled a lot, and some people said that the timeout has to be bigger 
than 10 minutes, so I tried the -S120, but this does not work either.

any thoughts how I can spin down the drive ?
