All five of the Las Vegas broadcasters who've been broadcasting analog VHF will 
continue to use VHF for their HD broadcasts.  One of them (KVBC, the local NBC 
affiliate) is even using low-band VHF (analog on channel 3, digital on channel 2).

Here's a list of HD broadcasters using VHF...it's actually pretty widespread:
