[mythtv-users] mythtv (frontend) complains that backend not running

hi all,

can i have some pointer's to get this problem sorted installed mythtv this
morning, run mythtv-setup
completed setup, and try'd to run mythtv frontend only to be told that the
backend is not running can somebody please help my system is opensuse 10.3
if that helps
