Solved - I had chosen the wrong card type when I set the cards up.
Switched it to the PVR series and now it works fine on low channels.
Good audio and video.
There are two problems I'm currently dealing with:
1) I only seem to get audio/video for the low channels. The program
guide shows all the expected channels and programs but I get nothing
but snow when I tune in one of those channels in the Line TV section
or try to record on them.
2) The general display of text overlays on the screen is really bad
unless I select progressive from the menu. Unfortunately this setting
isn't sticking so I have to do this each time I start the frontend.
Where is the permanent setting for this?
Thanks,
Mark
