Part of the reason I was interested in knowing the true s/n was
because I get a lot of mpeg2video errors on the backend from
commflagging.  Sometimes I get a ton of them and even on recordings
that play flawlessly.  Just doesn't make sense to me.  Those sorts of
decoding errors are usually attributed to a recording from a noisy
source.
