Why would you want to delete them?  Surely not disk space:  my entire 
mysql data directory is only 121Mb and I have 774581 records in 
recordedseek.  Database performance?  I doubt you could measure the 
difference.  And, as the other respondents point out, you would really 
bugger up your playback (no FF/RW).  I learned the hard way when I 
copied my recorded table to a new computer without copying the whole 
database.  It worked, except for FF/RW.  After a little study, I copied 
the recordedseek table and got FF/RW back for my old recordings.
