[mythtv-users] make install issue

MythTV 0.21 built from code drop
Mandriva 2007.1

I have a strange problem with the both make and make install. They 
are trying to use /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.7 to get Config.pm, but perl is 
actually pointing to 5.8.8. The 5.8.7 directory is from some old 
version of Mandriva, and it doesn't have all the dev components that 
are needed by MythTV (including Config.pm), 5.8.8 does. I have no 
idea why it keeps picking up 5.8.7. Anyone have any ideas?
