your X.  In other words, it has nothing to do with Myth, but is due to
the fact that the user running mythbackend has no .Xauthority file.  If
you're running mythbackend as root, any value will work for the token,
i.e. running the following as root should fix the problem:

xauth add :0  MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1  7a7a26e913054fd92783553174005ad3

If any other user, the value must be the appropriate value for the auth
token and its type must be the appropriate type.
