[mythtv-users] recordings got quieter?

I noticed the same thing after doing a re-install of the front end.  
Turned out, it was the kmix or amix or one of the mixers used by the 
sound system was set way low.  I upped it, and got reasonable sound back 
from the front end.

Not sure this is applicable, but, an observation....
