I'm assuming you mean the opengl renderer?

Can you send me some logs from running 'mythtv -v playback' and some
info about your setup (esp. whether you have sync to vblank enabled in
nvidia-settings - assuming you're using an nvidia card).

Just send them privately if they're long.
