If you use the channel editor in the frontend to probe the channel, you 
should be aware that myth must use the same callsign as Schedules Direct 
, for that to work. So you may scan a channel, and the station calls it 
WCCU-HD. You need to change that (in the editor) to WCCUDT before 
'probing'. If you already have the xmltvid and use that, then everything 
will be filled in as SD likes it. You can get the xmltvid by doing a 
'mouseover' on your SD lineup page.

I strongly suspect that most mythfilldatabase failures during setup are 
do to this sort of mis-match. Thereafter, running mythfilldatabase with 
--remove-new-channels seems to be a requirement for cable setups, but 
not otherwise.
