[mythtv-users] Help! Encoder state from status XML?

Thanks! I think that answers my questions. So to confirm:

-1 = Error state
0 = idle / none state
1 = LiveTV
2 = Watching PreRecorded
3 = Watching Recording
4 = Recording

To my way of thinking, an encoder should never be in state 2 and 3, as these
state definitions are used in other contexts as well.

Take a look at these files from source:

mythtv/libs/libmythtv/tv.h
mythtv/libs/libmythtv/tv.cpp

(http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/browser/trunk/mythtv/libs/libmythtv/tv.h)
(http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/browser/trunk/mythtv/libs/libmythtv/tv.cpp)

I think that's what you're looking for.
