In no particular order:

    * seek in an audio file
    * MythTV support for scheduling recordings
    * Tivo support
    * video rewind
    * internationalization for the menus/OSD
    * real DVD subtitle support
    * DVD menu and navigation
    * build tools for use under windows
    * user and developer documentation

And I would add: ONLY supports MPEG1/2--no xvid, mp4, H.264, FLV, etc...
