[mythtv-users] Where does the remote lag come from?

I have a different string going about how my remote slows down a lot when
the PVR is recording.  I have not figured it out yet.  I did see that if I
run IRW in a window, and press and hold a button on the remote, I see a
command about one every 2-3 seconds, no pattern I could find.  As soon as
the PVR finishes, the remote works fine.
